The St. Petersburg Theological Seminary was founded in 1983 and incorporated in Florida in 1985. The Seminary provides both undergraduate and graduate studies for preparation for professional church ministries.
Netzer David International Yeshiva was founded in 1998 as a subsidiary entity. The Yeshiva provides systematic preparation for rabbis and other leaders in Messianic congregations.
In 2011 the relationship between the two schools changed. They became two parts of a single school and began doing business as the St. Petersburg Seminary and Yeshiva
The St. Petersburg Seminary and Yeshiva strives to make the classes and degrees offered available to everyone and affordable. We offer scholarships to individuals who are incarcerated and want to turn their lives around. A few of these students have full scholarships, but most receive one-third (1/3) off their tuition. They must find sponsors to assist with payment of tuition and for their books.
We also offer scholarships for congregational leaders (pastors and rabbis), veterans (unfortunately we do not qualify for the GI Bill), and anyone over the age of 65, to name a few. A large portion of our students receive these scholarships.
We are a 501(c)3 charity and all donations are tax deductible.
